Over the next few weeks, upgrades will be performed on the Linux Hosting platform. We are upgrading all databases still using MySQL 5.7 to MySQL 8.0. The upgrade procedure is designed to minimize the impact. During the upgrade, your database will be put in read-only mode twice for a short period of time. This means that you cannot add or modify data for a few minutes at most. Reading data remains possible.
We schedule the moments when the database will be read-only in such a way that this happens after 11 p.m. in order to further minimize the impact.
In preparation for this maintenance, extensive checks have already been carried out and a number of databases that are not expected to be compatible with MySQL 8 have been marked so that they are not included in the upgrade. These databases will continue to be hosted on MySQL 5.7.

During the evening of Oct. 14, we are conducting controlled isolation tests on our network infrastructure in AZ1. Some short interruptions in multidatacenter traffic are possible during this period. The maintenance will start at 9pm with a maximum maintenance window until 4am.
